Check this out… research indicates that the average person – including you! – talks to themselves about 50,000 times a day.
And most of that self-talk is about YOU! Your thoughts have a powerful effect on you. They affect your attitude, your physiology and your motivation to act. Your negative thoughts actually control your behavior. They are what create a sense of fear, cause you to breathe shallowly, and even cause you to break out in a sweat.
So what can you do to transcend your limiting beliefs and fears?
You have to move beyond your fears in order to be successful. Learn how to identify those fears that are limiting you and then replace them with positive ones that support your success.
You are capable of that, you know. Let me show what I mean…
One of the reasons this lack of prosperity has you scared out of your wits is due to the notion that somehow you are not capable of accomplishing your goals. Despite all the tools and resources available about how to accomplish any task and despite this weak economy – you somehow choose to say instead:
“I can’t do that. There’s no way. I’m afraid to move forward. It probably won’t work for me anyway.”
So where does this come from?
For many of us, it’s a matter of early childhood programming. We carry this sense of inability into adulthood and then it gets reinforced through mistakes or other failures like lack of prosperity.
And the more you struggle with these difficult feelings, the more trouble you create for yourself.
When fears and pressures begin to rise, you tend to struggle against any physical or emotional pain that comes your way.
Whatever discomfort you experience, you’ll see it as a problem and try with all your might to get rid of it or avoid it.
So the question is how can you stop struggling with the difficult feeling of fear when it makes you feel so rotten?
Tomorrow we’ll talk about how to stop waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Barbara says
I agree. You can’t move forward when you’re thinking negative thoughts.
